Yesterday I worked with Becky, Izzy and Dessy on 'Daddy Long-Legs'. We all know our lines pretty well and everything went fine. What we need to work out now though are things like what we are going to be wearing, props and so on. Everything was pretty good. We remember a few things from what we did last year which helped a lot in the start. Now we just got to get the last things done and start to perfect our own character in their way.
It was a pitty that Beatrice was missing, because she wasn't here last year so it would have helped a lot I she would have been there and seen what we did. But hopefully everything will be worked out and so on.

  2. Shelter Group, Worked with out patrick on Stage directions, and lines. But Because he wasn't there, we had limited progress. We have almost gotten to the stage were costumes are need to be chosen, and props.
This Scene is coming along very well, all that is needed is 100% script free rehearsals, and the good news is that we are not fare from it. We have developed a very comfortable attitude toward our scene, witch is good because we have a realistic attitude about the piece. Hopefully we will not lose interest. Yesterdays class was productive and allowed us to see how far off we are until ready for final performance.

Yesterday i worked with Ema and Ashlie on 'the queen must die' and we came really far and had a lot of fun. In the beginning of the lesson we performed it and it was kind of the first time so we didnt do very much but then we went outside and rehearsed it together and it was really good and we got a lot more ideas. We then went in and did it agian and it wasnt exactly how we had done it outside but it was still better that the last time. We went out again and improved it further and its only a matter of time till it will be ready :D The costumes are great and basically we just need to get more comfortable with our characters and jump into their skins :)

Thr group i am in consists of myself, blue, denis and megan and patrick, we are doing SHELTER. We tried to do it in front of Mr. Malaclan but we obviously needed more practice on the positioning and where everyone moves too. So we went outside and practised where everyone came in and like where they stood and moves around on the stage because thats what we needed to learn the most, the lines i think we pretty much have got down :) and the rest is going to fall into place, the fact that we worked on this last year helps a great lot because we are more comfortable with it, and i enjoy acting this scene out with my group! were also working on our props.. eg-getting a sign for begging for denis. etc..... our characters will come alive more with time! The only downfall was that patrick was not there and he is the person who i do all my duets with and have to stay alot with and have alot of lines with so hopefully now that he is back we can practice that more and it will just get better with time! im looking forward to seeing the end product :)

  5. Yesterday I worked with Matild, Ema and me and we worked on our script for the "Queen Must Die." We were the first ones to perform for the class and it was the first time that all three of us had actually tried to perform it together. It went well but obviously we needed to work on it much more. Then after the tips that Mr. MacL gave us, we went outside and performed it again and we really got into it. Like it was really good. I started to feel like i was actually them. Like real acting where you become your character. Then we re-performed it again and it was good but it was as great as it was when we did it outside. So we were given more tips to emphasize on words, to make the words have enthusiasm. To show the words as we say them. Its actually kind of hard to that, well for me at least. But it makes it more fun. The costumes, the costumes are great. We all have horrendously ugly costumes, which is great. We also just need to work on hating them more. :) but i can't wait because i know that soon after a couple of more rehearsals we will have it down amazingly and it will turn out to be a great performance.

  6. Today me Ashlie and Matilda did our scripts "The Queen Must Die" and everytime we did it, we had more ideas getting for how to play it. We high lighted the words which we will be immitating while playing. And it comes quite funny as the script makes us be ungry and at the same time funny.
Matilda acts Shannon very well, and I really like it how she plays her. Even Lisa, I think we got the right characters for each of us.
Hopefully we will work more on the scene and we will do it amazingly.

Matilda and Ashlie also got their costumes today on, and i got mine on the lunch, so next lesson ill be wearing my own "flag" dress. By wearing ugly costumes it helps you play better, because you can feel the same feeling of wearing ugly, uncomfortable dresses.

    See you Mondayyyy<3

  7. Today my group "shelter" which consists of me, blue, patrick, sam and denis. in m opinion i got a better understanding of our actions today. when we went outside we discussed who would be doing what, how they would be doing, and why. it made it easier to see how the play would go, and it made each others character able to understand. All of us knew our lines pretty well which was very helpful, and we all gave a good input to the rehearsal. now we fill patrick in, and help him understand our ideas. i am looking forward to seeing the out come!! :D
