Reflection - Wednesday, January 20

Today we finished reading our scene from The Winslow Boy, reviewed last year's exam questions, and rehearsed repertoire scenes. Please put your reflection here.

Today we finished reading the 'Winslow Boy'. And we talked about characthers and how we are going to have two people doing the same character, and this is because we are quite a big class.
We also went through last years grade 10's exam and looked a some questions to see "kind of" what our exam will be like.
After this my goup watched 'The Queen Must Die' and then we got to just start ours but then the bell went.
This is pretty much what we did today.

  2. this is for 20/21 january

During this lesson we finished reading the Winslow Boy. After finishing it i got a better idea of what the play was about. it made me think of characters i would like to portray. we all discussed characters, and their personalities. After the discussion it made the choice easier. and i would like to do some research of the time this play was set in, it would make it easier for me to understand.

Afterwards we looked at the exam from last year. iam glad we did because it really helped me focus on what areas the exam covers.

We then watched "The Queen Must Die" i like this play since it relates to our teenage years, and is very comical.

We then did shelter which actually has moved on quite a bit from last year, which im very happy with. once we get our lines down 100% we will have a blast!! :)

At the beggining of this lesson we finished reading "The Winslow Boy". I have sort of a vague idea on what characters might work for my personality but nothing is really for sure and maybe it would be better if the sir assigned the parts for us. We think we are going to be doing two people being one character since we are quite a big class.

We also looked through the now 11th graders exam of last year. It helped me decide whether i am going to do the IGCSE or not and it gave us a clearer view tgo what the questions are going to be like. They seem pretty alright, but it was good to get a basic idea of it all.

We did shelter which we know actually prettyt well from last year and we went through it infront of everyone and i think we are getting more comfortable with where we are supposed to be and everything. It was great :)
